It is important, in order to enjoy your stay here, to dress comfortably, since most of the activities are carried out in the National Park taking up several hours outdoors, so it is essential to wear the right clothes and shoes. When you visit the National Park, especially during trekking or walks, you have to dress “like an onion”, meaning a light inner layer (polyester or something of the sort), a second layer of some artificial fiber (a sweater, a pullover, etc.) and a third and outer water and windproof layer. The ideal shoes are those used for trekking, but any comfortable shoe will do as long as it has rubber slip-resistant soles. It is important to always keep in mind that every mile we walk will be added to our way back.
If you are going camping or undertake a long walk always take spare shoes, socks and clothes, giving preference to synthetic fibers, because they are warmer and keep your body dry.
Sun cream and sunglasses, and mosquito repellent (often a must) and flashlight with spare batteries just in case it gets dark and you can not find your path back. |
