Distance: around 390 Km.

Routes:
Provincial 11- 5 (same route changes its name) and provincial route 7. |
Conditions:
Fully paved and in good conditions. When we take the road to the border we will have well-kept rubble till the National Park Torres del Paine. Once in Chile the rubble routes are in excellent conditions and the maintenance work is permanent!!!

How to get there: At El Calafate, we take provincial routes 11, 5 (same route changes its name) toward Río Gallegos and around 160 Km ahead we get to La Eperanza, where the junction to provincial route 7 is. That is the last place where we can fill up our cars' tanks in Argentina before we enter the National Park Torres del Paine, so fill up. There we turn right and around 120 Km ahead the paved road comes to an end and we find the junction to the road leading to the frontier passage of Cancha Carrera (Argentina) - Cerro Castillo (Chile).
There we turn right and take the road (quite hidden, so be careful) to the frontier passage Cancha Carrera (6 Km). Once that we are through with the migratory paperwork we go on for around 80 Km and we will get to one of the entries to the National Park Torres del Paine.
