Located at the southern tip of Patagonia, in the region of Magallanes, Chile, Puerto Natales is the gateway to the spectacular Torres del Paine National Park in southern Chile, a “must” for travellers heading Ushuaia from El Calafate or Punta Arenas, and vice versa .
The city is located 165 miles northwest of Punta Arenas and 250 miles south of El Calafate, lying on the Señoret channel, Puerto Natales is the provincial capital of “Ultima Esperanza” and it has a population of 15.000 inhabitants.
Located on the sea, with a beautiful boulevard from where you get all the territory around Puerto Natales, mainly dominated by cattle ranches, the mountain range crossed by the Señoret channel and the glacier Balmaceda background.
